At least 13 cities in China are believed to be on lockdown in bid to contain the virus and the death toll has passed 80. LME aluminium priced down 1.3% week-on-week For the week ending January 24, the London Metal Exchange three-month aluminium price closed with a week-on-week decline of 1.3%. Selling pressure was visible across the base metals complex, with LME copper leading the decline (down 5.5%), followed by tin (down 5.3%), as risk sentiment deteriorated.
