Grade premiums to face squeeze as fines benchmark rallies: Iron Ore Market Analysis

The iron ore price rally continued last week as the index ascended to a seven-month high. The renewed vigor in iron ore prices is something we have not seen since the price recovery in August. The fines benchmark was fresh from surging two weeks ago after the opening of the Chinese market, which had been closed during the week-long national holiday, and the pace of the price rise did not slow down last week.
