Will winter cuts kick in: Latest Analysis
In the circumstances of firming demand, it is hardly surprising that Chinese raw materials prices largely surged this week even as import prices were negatively affected by falling freight rates, at least from Western Australia.
Will winter cuts kick in? The National Bureau of Statistics' (NBS) estimates were in-line with CISA data for September and revealed that real demand for steelmaking raw materials remained very firm with the day rate of steel production rising strongly month on month and even more so year on year.
