Both spot market chrome and nickel prices have now moved below long-term real averages again and should eventually recover.

What goes up must come down is the old saying. And that certainly appears to be the case in global stainless steel markets this year, with prices now falling once more after having ticked up on an almost monthly basis during the first half of this year.
