US stainless prices set to continue increasing in July: American Highlights
MBR believes that recent base price increases announced for both stainless flat-roll and long products have a good chance of success, especially given that they are being supported (and in the case for flat products, led) by industry leader North American Stainless.
Prices are continuing to get support from both base price, surcharge hikes
US stainless steel prices continue to be supported by rises in both base prices and alloy surcharges and transaction prices will likely to continue to move upwards over the coming month, helped along by steady to improving demand and the likelihood that metal availability will continue to tighten as the effects of the Section 232 tariffs and quotas become more apparent.
