Chrome prices have picked up as of late on the spot market, helping to keep contract prices almost stable for another three months during Q3.

For the sixth month in a row, alloy surcharges on the most common, nickel-containing grades of stainless steel are set to rise once more in both Europe and the USA. This will see stainless steel prices continue on the gentle upward trend that has been in place since last summer.
