In Europe, alloy surcharges on grade 304 material will increase by some 2% on February values, rising by an average of €25/tonne. Meanwhile in the USA, the same surcharges will rise by almost 7%, equivalent to an average increase of $90/tonne.

On grade 304 material for example, alloy surcharges increased by some €30/tonne on average for February deliveries and are set to increase by a further €40/tonne for March deliveries.
