Copper: Bottom in Q2

Last week, copper hit its lowest since January 2016, having experienced its largest weekly loss since September 2011. The catalyst behind the move was a negative shift in demand expectations from a ā€˜Vā€™-shaped recovery to a ā€˜Uā€™-shaped recovery, despite more news of supply disruptions. While further selling pressure cannot be ruled out in immediate term, we expect copper prices to hit a bottom in the course of Q2 2020
