Both high-grade and low-grade ore prices have exhibited month-on-month price increases.

Manganese alloy prices continue to follow manganese ore prices higher in the major regions of the world over the past month even with the uncertainty the coronavirus has injected into the market. The immediate response of manganese traders was that it was too risky to make offers until there was more clarity about the impact of the virus on global steel markets, and therefore, manganese alloy demand.
