Demand Analysis:

European premiums supported by LME contango
Aluminium premiums in Rotterdam rose over the past week with nearby LME spreads in contango remaining supportive. The duty-unpaid premium for P1020 in-warehouse Rotterdam narrowed upward by $5 per tonne to $85-90 per tonne last week from $80-90 a week ago. The Rotterdam duty-paid in-warehouse P1020 premium also moved up over the past week to $140-150 per tonne, up by $5 per tonne on the high end from $140-145 per tonne in the week before.
