Rising presence of Chinese material a growing concern
As discussed in our Asian section this month, there has been an important increase in the amount of Chinese material arriving in the European markets over recent months. Elevated billet costs, largely due to Rusal sanctions, created something of a perfect storm and with it left the door open for the arrival of more Chinese material.
