Price upswing despite expected downward correction: Coking Coal and Coke Market Analysis


Coking coal prices have generally been trending upward over the past three months, except for a slight dip in October, but we do not expect this trend to last

Premium coking coal prices have risen and we saw the sharpest week-on-week increase in two months for first-tier material, both on a fob Australia and cfr China basis. Coking coal prices have climbed higher while the iron ore market was hit by a price downturn last week.
