Chinese rebar sales cool off but residential construction keeps prices high: International Long Product Market Analysis

Growth in Chinese rebar supply has been trailing off throughout this year. Fastmarkets MB research calculations show that cumulative Chinese rebar output was up by 5.8% year on year in August, reaching 135.6 million tonnes, compared with 128.1 million tonnes produced over the same period of last year.
