Seasonal slowdown affecting most markets: Latest analysis
In the USA, where trade measures imposed earlier this year had already lifted steel prices far above those elsewhere, those price increases appear to have reached a limit.
After falling for the past couple of months, European steel prices appear to be on the rebound. Some form of resurgence was probably due given that European prices had become relatively cheap compared to those elsewhere but the recent decision taken by the European Commission to impose trade measures has also contributed....
