Brazilian merchant pig iron (MPI) sellers last week followed CIS producers upwards. Exporters from the key merchant pig iron (MPI) producing region of Brazil, Minas Gerais, increased prices by $10 week on week to $365 per tonne fob Vitoria/Rio on Friday January 12.
