Another bearish week for metcoke: Coking Coal and Coke Market Analysis
As a result of waning demand, the bullish run for domestic coking coal in China has ended and the price for HCC delivered to Shanxi dropped for the first time since the start of June.
Coking coal prices continued their downward journey which began in September amid government announcements about restricting crude steel output and placing caps on coking activity in China. Premium hard coking coal averaged at $184/t FOB Australia over the week ending 13th October.
