Chinese prices rebound but likely to slip: Latest analysis
Depending on how stringent the quotas and/or tariffs are, and against which countries and which steel products they are imposed, MBR believes that US HDG prices could jump up to as high as $1,000/short ton again before the end of the year, assuming demand levels remain relatively strong.
While global HDG prices have in general continued to fall further this month, particularly in Europe where prices have at last begun to follow those elsewhere down, most attention at present is on the news regarding the Section 232 investigation in the USA.
