Obsolete shortages reappear and outlook is upgraded: North America Market Analysis


Arguably there has been more of a pull on the obsolete than the prime grades in May, especially in the Ohio Valley.

The persistent strength of prime, industrial scrap in the USA has continued over the past month, but the bigger surprise has been with obsolete material, which has also revived in May outside of Chicago.
