China has continued to largely consume domestic metallurgical coal and only import seaborne material as supplement.

The seaborne coking coal market has been indifferent towards the volatile price movements witnessed in iron ore over the past week. MBR understands that some Chinese buyers wish to keep market fundamentals stable ahead of the quarterly negotiations in the coming weeks.
