International coking coal FOB prices are down: Latest Analysis


Scrap price gains in the US Midwest were down to aggressive buying.

MBR’s Steel Raw Material Index gained momentum this week, as US domestic scrap prices increased between $30-40/l.ton, delivered mill terms, across all grades. The Index boasted a 1.03% week-on-week increase, as scrap price increases offset Chinese coke and Indian iron ore 63.5% price declines.
