Most of the major coated steel markets within Europe recorded a double-digit fall in new car registrations

Recent data coming from the European Automobile Manufacturers Association has highlighted a 6.5% fall in car sales to 1.06 million units in April as buyer sentiment took a fall due to the prolonged crisis across the euro zone economy.

Most of the major coated steel markets within Europe recorded a double-digit fall in new car registrations during the month, except Germany and U.K. Germany continue to be the strongest economy within the euro zone, with recent manufacturing numbers giving market players something to be bullish about.
