CIS pig iron prices slip: Iron Metallics Highlights


Monthly imports of pig iron by the USA from Brazil increased 6.5% month-on-month in March.

Pig iron price slipped in both CIS regions last week, falling $5/tonne for ex-Baltic Sea material to $472.50/tonne FOB and $5/tonne to $437.50/tonne FOB for ex-Black Sea pig iron. The markets have seen prices dip on weak buying activity in the eurozone.
