Aluminium prices found support above $2,000/tonne – given the concerns over Greece we feel the fact prices held support suggests the market is wary of production cutbacks.We expect Chinese demand to pack a strong punch in 2012 with an increase of 9.8% anticipated. While for any other region this growth would be hailed as impressive, this would actually be the second slowest increase in Chinese aluminium demand during the past decade, with only 2009 showing slower growth.
