MBR’s Steel Raw Materials Index fell 0.47% week-on-week: Latest Analysis


Turkish domestic steel demand is firm, but the country's long and flat product export markets have become sluggish.


MBR’s Steel Raw Materials Index fell 0.47% week-on-week, as Indian iron ore and freight rates declined. MBR’s Global Steel Price Index also declined this month with a 0.91% week-on-week fall. Price deterioration is attributed to the weakening Chinese steel market and further concerns regarding the eurozone sovereign-debt crisis.
