US stainless surcharges increase for April: Stainless Steel Market Analysis
Base prices for 304 2B 2mm CRC are now in the range of €1,120-1,250/tonne, up from €1,110-1,120/tonne as lead times for standard grades at European mills have extended and trader inventories have been drawn down in Central Europe.
Despite the slow start to the year the US stainless steel market has seen good buying activity that suggests the economic recovery is entering a more robust phase.
