Stainless steelmakers adequately stocked with ferro-alloys


We are seeing some weakening in specialty ferro-alloy prices, with prices sliding in response to softer demand from stainless steelmakers. Stainless mills appear adequately stocked with raw materials, and in response, are reducing their new raw material purchases. We have noted downward pressure on both molybdenum and chrome prices over the past week.
