Base metals pushed higher again: Market Summary


Aluminium: A slight improvement in the stock picture and a mass of short covering - evidence of which we highlighted in last week’s report by noting the tighter spread - led to a powerful rally. We were looking for another shorting opportunity and one may now be upon us, although dips may also attract buying. Expect volatile and choppy trading in the short term.
