Asia drives ferro-chrome prices: Ferro-alloys Highlights
Ferro-moly exports from China still quiet
As we suggested last week stronger demand from Asian stainless steel producers is driving up prices for ferro-chrome. China imported 237,394 tonnes of ferro-chrome in April, 174% more than a year ago, but exports have fallen by 77% to 8,361tonnes.
In a situation that was unthinkable at the beginning at the year, ferro-chrome producers are expecting quarter three European charge chrome contracts...
