Scrap prices edge up through May: Scrap Highlights


The stainless scrap markets have seen some price increases through May and the beginning of June.

The last month has seen some stabilisation in stainless scrap prices, followed by increases as the price of nickel recovered from its decline at the end of May to reach $14,000/tonne by the first week of June.
