Indian iron ore falls another $7/tonne: Iron Ore Analysis
There has been a further correction in the price of Indian-origin iron ore this week.
There has been a further correction in the price of Indian-origin iron ore this week. Last week, the price fell by $7/tonne to $139/tonne; this week it has fallen a further $7/tonne, to $132/tonne fob. This is for 62.5-63.5% Fe content.
For 60-61% Fe content, the price has also fallen by $7/tonne, from $107/tonne to $100/tonne fob east coast of India. On the domestic Indian market though, ex-mine prices have remained the same.
