The Chinese domestic coking coal market has improved slightly this week with a small pick-up in transaction levels.
The Chinese domestic coking coal market has improved slightly this week with a small pick-up in transaction levels. Prices of hard coking coal have narrowed to a range of Rmb1,000-1,050/tonne ($146-153/tonne) delivered in Shanxi province. Hard coking coal prices in eastern China have remained at Rmb1,000-1,100/tonne ($146-161/tonne) ex-works.
